The Tony Martin trained gelding won twice at Leopardstown earlier in the season, before disappointingly pulling up in the Baylis %26 Harding Handicap Chase at the Cheltenham Festival. He was turned out again quickly to run in a valuable novice handicap at Navan, but he could only manage a poor eleventh there, when sent off a co-favourite of four. Coming back from a break of over a month, and carrying just nine stone twelve, a much improved performance can be expected from the eight-year-old bay. After going close on his last few starts More Madness is given second preference. The Terence O'Brien trained seven-year-old carries just nine stone four here with the capable Ryan Treacy taking a valuable seven pounds off. Jamsie Hall ran a cracker to finish fourth in the Irish Grand National recently, and he looks to have solid each-way claims, while Heaney, Grand Jesture and Chartreux are others to consider.
