FormscanBy Donal Murphy - TIGER ROLL looks the one to beat here after he won the Triumph Hurdle on his last start. Eight of the horses he defeated at Cheltenham re-oppose now, and the Gordon Elliott trained selection should be able to confirm his superiority. Of course Adriana Des Mottes and Abbyssial didn't complete the course at Cheltenham, with the latter falling bringing down the former. Ruby Walsh has again picked to ride Abbyssial, and the son of Beneficial is given second preference. Prior to Cheltenham, he won his three starts over flights, the last of which was a Grade Two contest at Fairyhouse. Kitten Rock is one of the few runners who didn't compete in the Triumph Hurdle, and he looks to have solid claims with Tom Scudamore taking the ride. The Edward O'Grady trained gelding just failed to peg back Ivan Grozny in a Grade Three at Fairyhouse on his last start, and he should give a good account of himself here. After finishing third in the Triumph Guitar Pete went on to win the Grade One Juvenile Hurdle at Aintree, and he warrants the utmost respect, while the same can be said about Kentucky Hyden (second in the Triumph) who represents the formidable team of Nicky Henderson and Barry Geraghty.
