FormscanBy Donal Murphy - STAR NEUVILLE disappointed in the Cross Country race at Cheltenham, but he is given the chance to redeem himself here. The Enda Bolger trained gelding ran a cracker to finish third in this race last year, when he just failed to peg back Sizing Australia and Zest For Life. He put in a nice performance to finish third on his return to action in a handicap hurdle at Fairyhouse in February, before disappointing at Cheltenham. He was hampered at the second there, and the trip of three mile seven might have found him out. He should come on plenty for that run, and back to three miles he can be expected to give a good account of himself. Of course Sizing Australia won this race last year, and he is given second preference after he ran well to finish fifth at Cheltenham on his last start. Be Positive won the Festival opener on Tuesday and he is sure to go close under Nina Carberry, while others to consider are Keep On Track (second in the La Touche on Thursday), The Hard Hat and Coole Avenue.

Committee have suspended Rule 78 to enable horses which run in this race (excluding the winner) to retain their Hunters Certificates for the remainder of the 2013/2014 Point To Point Season. The Stewards have also suspended Rule 135 (iv) (c) and (v) for the purposes of this race.
