FormscanBy Alan Magee - NO MORE HEROES looked an exciting stayer when scoring twice in bumpers last term including an amazing 39 lengths victory at the Leopardstown Christmas meeting. The point-to-point winner gained further jumping experience in a Down Royal maiden hurdle 12 months ago. Two miles was an inadequate stamina test on that occasion but he stayed on well in the closing stages to take fourth behind Gilt Shadow, and the form of that race has been well advertised since. Gigginstown are also represented here by the long-time absent Outlander. The Stowaway gelding completed the notable feat of three bumper wins (all on soft ground) but missed all of last season. He’s in the right hands to overcome that lay-off, and is an obvious threat. Point-to-point winner Mells Theater was placed on his debut under rules in a Cork maiden hurdle a fortnight ago but has a lot more on his plate here.
