FormscanBy Tom Weekes - FREEWHEELIN DYLAN is on a roll following his 150/1 Irish Grand National win and might win another marathon. A dour stayer, FREEWHEELIN DYLAN won his sixth chase at Fairyhouse and while raised 8lbs, should compete from his revised mark with yielding ground in his favour. Mister Fogpatches was a fine third in the Scottish National 13 days ago and while the quick turn-around isn't ideal, is proven over marathon trips, likes nice ground and is open to progression being just a 7yo. Lightly weighted Young Dev stays well and while he steps to this trip for the first time, is in good form and likes yielding ground. Brace Yourself was hampered at the first fence in the Irish National and while ultimately well beaten, is capable of better and beat Mister Fogpatches in a Gowran beginners' chase just last October. Se Mo Loach was beaten by the stirrup-less Young Dev at Navan in February and stays well while Swingbridge, now 13, was third to FREEWHEELIN DYLAN in the 2020 Midlands National at Kilbeggan and returns under a capable 7lbs claimer. Regal Encore, now 13, was well held latest but previously placed in two Listed Ascot chases while Smoking Gun wasn't beaten too far at Fairyhouse latest but has won just once in two seasons chasing.
