Permission was given for Swatch (IRE) to wear a red hood to post.
The winner, Swatch (IRE), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Thirsk on 09 April 2024 where the gelding finished tenth of twelve, beaten 17 lengths.
Alice Haynes’ representative’s explanation that the gelding improved for its recent run after a break, was noted.
Swatch (IRE) was routine tested.
Following the race, William Cox reported that Racing Demon (GB), unplaced, dwelt leaving the stalls and was very slowly away; Jack Jones reported that Thoughtful Gift (GB), placed fifth, was unsuited by the going and would prefer a quicker surface.
