Paul Deegan is keen to see how Hassah performs as she makes her competitive debut at Listed level in Sunday's Flame Of Tara EBF Stakes at the Curragh.

The daughter of Halling has showed the locally based handler a good level of ability in her homework and with only eight fillies declared, he feels it could be a good opportunity for her to enhance her value as a potential broodmare.

Deegan said: "She's a nice filly who has shown us plenty at home. She's a filly for next year really, but we thought it would be good to introduce her at a nice track and we hope she has a chance of running into the money.

"We'll see how she progresses from this race. We could run her again this year, we'll wait and see."

Jessica Harrington's hat-trick-seeking filly Jack Naylor takes top billing, with David Wachman's Galway winner Legatissimo and the Aidan O'Brien-trained Together Forever also in the mix.

Michael Mulvany's six-race maiden Bluerince Lady appears to have her work cut out having finished down the field in a Tipperary handicap earlier in the week, but the trainer feels she could pick up some black type if there is an ease in the ground.

Mulvany said: "We'd be hoping for a drop of rain as we know she showed she handles softer ground in Galway and one or two of the other horses might not.

"If the ground does come up soft and one or two of the others don't handle it, we're hoping she could maybe pick up a bit of black type. That's the theory, anyway.

"We have the mother (The Silver Crown) at home, so if this filly could pick up a bit of black type it would boost the family."

Jim Bolger's pair of newcomers Deontas and Steip Amach and the Andrew Oliver-trained Could Would Should complete the line-up.
