Shortly after the start, Dion Baker (IRE), unplaced, and Cobh Harbour (GB), unplaced, which were both running freely bumped into each other and became notably unbalanced, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that there was no riding offence involved.
Inside the final furlong, Cobh Harbour (GB), unplaced, shifted slightly left-handed before being corrected by its rider carrying Lewis Barnes (GB), placed fifth, onto LAURA’S BREEZE (IRE), placed fourth, which lugged left after receiving a light bump and hampered Swinging Eddie (GB), unplaced.
As a result, Swinging Eddie (GB) was carried towards the heels of Autumn Angel (IRE), placed third, which had edged slightly right-handed, and had to be checked but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that there was no riding offence involved and that it had not improved the placing of any runner.
Following the race, Adam Farragher reported that Dion Baker (IRE), unplaced, ran too freely and Shane Kelly reported that Cobh Harbour (GB), unplaced, suffered interference shortly after the start.
