Having heard their evidence, the rider was cautioned.
Christian Howarth, the rider of Pablo Del Pueblo (IRE), placed fifth, beaten a nose and a further nose behind third place, had appeared to stop riding shortly before the winning post.
After being interviewed and shown recordings of the incident, Howarth was suspended for 7 days for failing to take all reasonable and permissible measures to obtain the best possible placing on a horse that could have finished third.
Following the race, Edward Greatrex reported that his saddle slipped on Carranita (GB), unplaced.
