The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Cayd Boy (FR), trained by Liz Doyle, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal
The Raceday Stewards received a report from Ms A. O'Keeffe, Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that M.M. McDonagh, rider of Typical Thomas, weighed in at 1.2lbs overweight
Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. In his evidence M.M. McDonagh stated that he had was claiming off bottom weight and had a small drink of water after weighing out. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that M.M. McDonagh was in breach of Rule 231(iii) and having taken his previous record into account they Raceday Stewards cautioned M.M. McDonagh on this occasion.
