The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident at the fourth last fence involving Upping The Anti, ridden by Rachael Blackmore, and Brideswell Lad, ridden by J.J. Slevin where it appeared Brideswell lad stumbled before the fence. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Rachael Blackmore stated that she maintained a straight line on approach to the fence. J.J. Slevin stated that his mount stumbled independently. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Brideswell Lad trained by Seamus Neville was found to have blood at both nostrils post race.
