FormscanBy Gary Carson - A few decent mares in this and JENNIES JEWEL was the best of them over timber. She disappointed a touch on her return to jumping at Gowran Park earlier in the month when not making much impression behind Little King Robin but showed last year that she's a classy mare. She kept really good company throughout and signed off her campaign when chasing home Annie Power in the Grade 1 at Punchestown. That marks her out as the one to beat on her chasing debut. The Willie Mullins-trained Urticaire looks the obvious threat. She proved a solid sort last season and the highlight of her campaign came when finishing third in the Grade 1 at Fairyhouse dominated by her stable-mates. She was well held on her final start at Punchestown but has shown a good level and is sure to be well schooled for this. Our Katie also had a fine campaign last term and although it was perhaps just below graded level she did run a fine race to be third in a competitive handicap at Fairyhouse. She has jumping experience from point-to-points which could prove a big asset here. Indian Fairy ran a decent race to chase home Kashline at Downpatrick but this looks another level now.
