FormscanBy Gary Carson - Some serious money on offer here but not much in the way of form. Motown Bob was a fair enough third on his debut at Punchestown in February and the winner then has been placed in a Listed bumper since. He was beaten ten lengths then but is entitled to improve from the run. With the value of the race you would assume that some of the top yards have been keeping a nice horse for this and the obvious one to focus on is the Willie Mullins-trained TURCAGUA. He is a half-brother to a Listed chase winner in France and it would be far from a surprise if he was good enough to claim this first time up. Noel Meade saddles the only filly in the field and Barossa Pearl is a half-sister to a couple of winners from the family of What A Question and The Real Article. Pat Doyle's Tycoon Prince is half-brother to Grade 2 winner Puffin Billy and to Zuzka, a Grade 3 winner and Grade 1 placed. The Charlie Swan-trained Chasing Waterfalls is out of an own-sister to Galway Hurdle winner Cuan Na Grai.
