FormscanBy Gary Carson - REALTRA is on a nice weight here and looks the pick. She has been performing with credit in some good races of late and is one of three English challengers to hold an official rating of 95 going into this race. The selection has been behind the smart Tiggy Wiggy on both her last two outings when fifth in the Weatherbys Super Sprint and fourth in the Lowther. That looks really solid form and the fact that she has experience of one of these big field events is another plus. Explosive Lady has run well in pattern company on her last two starts, most recently when third in a Ripon Listed contest. Her form doesn't look quite as strong as the selection's and she will need to get away smartly to hold her position from a low draw. The third of the 95-rated challengers Diaz is also drawn near the rail. He faded to finish third in a Listed contest at Newbury last month and again on overall form he looks to have a bit to find with the selection. Dandyleekie is the best of the home team on ratings (93) and Joseph O'Brien is an intriguing booking. He has been running well in defeat since his debut win at Navan bumping into a couple of smart types in Dick Whittington and Lucida. He was just denied when attempting to make all in a Dundalk nursery last time and is entitled to run a big race. He is drawn right on the inner with a few of the other leading contenders. Stable-mate The Ice Meister was a game winner of a Gowran Park nursery last time and off a rating of 89 he might not be far away now while Doncaster maiden winner Fruity may be open to more improvement.
