FormscanBy Eamonn Murphy - Many of the Weld 'disciples' at Galway were strongly involved in even money favourite TANDEM, in the opening maiden hurdle on Plate Day. Whatever the ins and out of his performance then when third (struggling when 'missed' the last) there's no denying the race has worked out well in the meantime. Given the level of confidence behind the 105-rated flat performer on that occasion, it'd be harsh not to afford him another opportunity now. Egyptian Warrior (89) and Ned's Indian (81) are two nice types to be going hurdling with, given, as their respective ratings show, that they were very well able to 'move' on the level. Gordon Elliott's pair, Crown Theatre and Tom's Article probably have no more than place possibilities.
