The chestnut contested the Rochestown Stakes at Naas back in June and in the context of this race his effort there to be beaten nearly five and a half lengths in seventh behind Kool Kompany makes him a leading player. Jim Bolger's charge has been afforded a nice break since and any deterioration in the ground won't inconvenience. Focussed won this race a year ago in the Bolger colours for Brendan Duke and with Intense Style now going up in trip he should have every chance of supplying the Coolcullen maestro with a winner. As ever in an event of this nature, the betting has the potential to tell us plenty. There are aren't too many that you could safely rule out but from out of the handicap Bluerince Lady has a bit on her plate.
