FormscanBy Eamonn Murphy - Their hurdle ratings are as follows - Benemeade (120), Rawnaq (140) and JAROB (121). Two of them are previous course winners, namely Rawnaq (on the level in a mile and five handicap) and Jarob, impressively in a handicap hurdle here last time. I'm making Jarob the selection. I have a soft spot for the Beat All gelding having backed him to win his 'point' at Ballinaboola back in November 2011. He trumps Benemeade and Rawnaq (making debut in this sphere) in terms of experience over the larger obstacles though admittedly he hasn't been flawless in the jumping department. Hopefully he'll get better in that respect with experience. In what was something of a dawdling affair, Benemeade was a bit keen down at Listowel on his second chase start and that probably didn't help him in the latter stages.
