Noel Meade reports Road To Riches none the worse but sore following his heavy fall at Punchestown on Wednesday.

The Gigginstown House-owned nine-year-old led and still held a narrow advantage when he took a tumble at the second-last fence of the Bibby Financial Services Ireland Punchestown Gold Cup.

The 2014 Lexus Chase hero will now go on his summer break and return to Meade's County Meath stables for the next campaign.

"He's a little bit sore all over, but he's OK," said the trainer.

"He'll have a holiday now and be back next season, that's the plan."
