Racing has resumed in the UK today with a ten race card on the all weather surface at Newcastle but Irish racing must wait a further seven day before the action returns at Naas next Monday.
With the heatwave in Ireland set to continue until the middle of this week all tracks due to race in the first week of action are continuing to water their courses.
Following on from Naas on June 8 the action will come thick and fast with eight all Flat fixtures over the subsequent seven days.
Leopardstown race on Tuesday, Navan Wednesday, Gowran Park Thursday, The Curragh stages the 2000 Guineas on Friday and the 1000 Guineas on Saturday. Leopardstown race again on the Sunday before both Fairyhouse and Roscommon stage the action on Monday June 15.
Temperatures are set to take a dip on Wednesday of this week but there is no significant rainfall forecast for the next two weeks in Ireland.
