The ground is drying at Gowran Park ahead of tomorrow's Thyestes Chase meeting, with the ground currently soft, heavy in places.

Clerk of the Course Paddy Graffin today reports “following a nice dry weekend, the ground has flipped from heavy, soft in place to soft, heavy places.

“There is still fair bit of test in the ground and the frost has made it a little bit holding.

“It is set to be dry for the next couple of days so it could come back to soft. The ground is in very good condition and I'm very happy with everything.”
