The Stewards interviewed Barry Cash, rider of Tilabay placed third and Keith Clarke, rider of Zarkozy placed fourth, concerning their use of the whip in the closing stages of this race.
Evidence was heard from the riders concerned.
Having viewed the video of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that both Barry Cash and Keith Clarke had used their whip with excessive frequency and they therefore suspended them for one raceday (date to be confirmed by the Turf Club).
