She had run a good race in a bumper first time out (in 2022) but just got a bit of an injury, so we had to give her time off. she is the first horse for the Road To Nowhere Syndicate, so it’s great for them and they’re delighted. They’re from Cloyne and Carrigtwohill, they’re a great bunch, and will enjoy tonight. The Raceday Stewards interviewed Kevin A Murphy, rider of Onebrightbluerose, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. In his evidence, Kevin A Murphy accepted he was in breach of the Whip Regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied Kevin A Murphy was in breach of R.10.3(g)(frequency) and R10.3(i)(time to respond). Having taken his previous record(first offence under Regulation 10) into account the Raceday Stewards suspended Kevin A Murphy for eight racedays.
