The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the straight involving Cuckoo Valley, ridden by Mr P.W
Mullins, placed second, Fad Eadrainn, ridden by Mr J.L. Gleeson, placed first, and Nelson Muntz, ridden by Mr D
Doyle, placed third, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Mr. P.W. Mullins stated he received a bump going through the wings of where the last hurdle was. Mr
J.L. Gleeson stated his horse leaned away from the wing of where the last hurdle was but was trying to keep his mount straight at all times. Mr. D. Doyle stated he received pressure from both sides. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action
