Quotes on Blood Destiny (FR)
New tactics, I thought that might be a help after Punchestown. Paul was very taken with him there. He's brilliant to jump, that was always his feature, but we were making too much use of his jumping instead of just using it when we needed it. Coming back in trip might have been a help as well. I don't know whether we've made a mistake now leaving him at home for Cheltenham but at least he has one nice prize in the bag. I imagine he'll probably go for the WillowWarm Gold Cup at Fairyhouse. That was the plan, here and then on to that. I know it's two-and-a-half but that two-and-a-half will be alright for him as well. I was keen after Punchestown to change tactics and see what he was like riding him that way. It worked for today anyway but it mightn't work everyday. I wouldn't have any problem with ground for him. He's a lighter framed horse rather than big heavy ground horse. He'll go on nicer ground and might be faster on nice ground. I thought he was struggling on that down the far side. After Blood Destiny (FR) finished 1st at Navan on Sat, 2nd Mar 2024 2m Novice Chase Heavy

Quotes on Captains Nephew (IRE)
James felt that there was no touch or bump and is reasonably confident that everything should be okay. Tom (Doran) has been a huge supporter and I’m delighted for him. The tongue tie slipped in Thurles the last day and he didn’t see out his race. Maybe the ground was too quick for him. His form up to then was mighty and this race was the aim for a while. After Captains Nephew (IRE) finished 1st at Fairyhouse on Sun, 31st Mar 2024 2m Hcap Chase Heavy

Quotes on Gaelic Warrior (GER)
You could see what difference a hood made to him. He wasn’t trying to jump right and Paul could ride a race on him. I thought coming down the hill ‘what was I doing running him over three miles last season when he has that speed’. I think he has enough class now to do two miles and he’ll probably stick to that game now, although you could push him out to the Ryanair distance as well. He’s very adaptable. When you saw how good he was at Limerick at Christmas you wouldn’t believe he could run like he did at Leopardstown at the Dublin Racing Festival, I don’t know what happened. I thought he was going to boil over again in the parade ring, but once he got out and away from the crowd he became a lot more settled. It made him so much easier to ride in the hood. I think he’s found his calling now, he looks a Champion Chaser, he could be a Ryanair horse and he won over three miles over hurdles. It’s satisfying to get a win here with him after watching what he does at home all the time, to do it in the Arkle is fantastic. It’s a huge relief to get one on the board, when we got beaten in the first I felt ‘oh no’ when it looked like we had it won. After Gaelic Warrior (GER) finished 1st at Cheltenham on Tue, 12th Mar 2024 1m 7f Chase Heavy

Quotes on Hercule Du Seuil (FR)
Lucid Dreams kept him honest the whole way and Mark (Walsh, jockey) had to change to plan B and drop him in behind. He jumped well when Mark needed him and a great performance to win five in a row. If the weather stays dry we might get another run into him and we could then give him a mid-season break and come back in the springtime. I’d rather keep him to the minimum trip if I could but he can go out to 2m4f. Mark felt maybe he didn’t want the ground as soft as it was today. After Hercule Du Seuil (FR) finished 1st at Punchestown on Wed, 11th Oct 2023 2m 2f Novice Chase Yielding to Soft

Quotes on Il Etait Temps (FR)
Danny is just on fire today,. This horse is improving, his jumping is improving and he’s settling as well. He didn’t have much respect for hurdles, but he has far more respect for fences and that’s bringing out improvement in him. It just shows you that chasers come in all shapes and sizes, he’s not the biggest horse in the world. He’s obviously very effective over this trip and we’ll look forward to the Arkle in Cheltenham. He showed plenty of resolution and Danny just timed his run well. Facile Vega will probably stay at that trip as well. I was very happy with him, even though he got beaten. I saw a lot in the race to say that he’s coming along and improving as well. After Il Etait Temps (FR) finished 1st at Leopardstown on Sat, 3rd Feb 2024 2m 1f Novice Chase Soft

Quotes on Mister Policeman (FR)
He’s still learning to jump and he’ll probably be better going out in trip at some stage, but this race fitted nicely into his schedule. It will leave him nicely set up for the spring. I’d imagine he’ll stay at home and there are plenty of good races to be won. Quotes on Senecia (IRE)
I'm delighted with that. I was concerned after all of the rain because I think he is a better horse on good ground, I was just hoping that his ability would pull him through and we didn't need to worry in the end. We like him a lot and he had a nice run in Limerick where he probably learned plenty. Danny thought that he probably learned a lot today as well. For a big horse he has a turn of foot and he is a nice horse to look forward to. I think two-and-a-half miles is enough for him at the minute but at the same time I wouldn't have any problem going back to two. I'd be happy enough with two miles to two-and-a-half for him. With a bit more experience over hurdles we will be looking at nicer races. It's still early days but he was impressive. He likes a little gap between races. I don't think he is a horse that you would be bouncing out again quick. We will look for a novice hurdle somewhere. Quotes on Uncle Phil (IRE)
This track suited him much better, a flatter track. Wexford was a bit too stiff for him, he likes to get on with it. He jumps fantastic and he's going to be a much better chaser than he was a hurdler. He's starting to settle a bit better as well. We'll look for a novice chase somewhere and I think flatter tracks are going to suit him better. After Uncle Phil (IRE) finished 1st at Kilbeggan on Mon, 19th Jun 2023 2m 3f Chase Good to Yielding
