Cerberus was twice Grade 1-placed as a juvenile in 2019/20 and while he has been well held on recent runs, is suited by heavy ground and reverts back in distance today. Boothen Boy finished second in last year's earlier-run renewal of this race and while proven on Clonmel-heavy, has a long absence to overcome. Race-fit Action Motion was lying in third when he was a final-flight faller in a Listed race last Christmas but was well held subsequently. Cloudy Tuesday won a hunters chase in 2021 and while he drops markedly following his Thurles run, this season's point-to-point form has been underwhelming. It Could Be You's recent form is also ordinary.
