FormscanBy Alan Magee - It was hard to believe that Derek O’Connor had not ridden a winner over the banks until scoring on Shady Operator earlier this year and he could successfully team up again with Enda Bolger aboard YOUCANNOTBESERIOUS here. The Presenting gelding has not been seen since runner-up to stablemate Blue Templar in this race two year’s ago but, with Bolger’s unparalleled record in this sphere, he still looks the one to beat. Stable-companion Saint Benedict, a dual point-to-point winner and runner-up a number of times in hunter chases this year, tackles this discipline for the first time but is sure to be well schooled. Singing Banjo came out best, although still beaten a long way, of these that ran over course and distance behind Shady Operator in February. Mia’s Milan and Festival Opera are both in the veteran category but have plenty of experience over the banks.
