FormscanBy Eamonn Murphy - It’s fair to say things haven’t panned out the way many would have anticipated when SUMMER SANDS joined these high profile connections for big money in October 2019. Four underwhelming performances in Ireland will hardly have backers flocking in for Summer Sands now, but he mightn’t be one to give up on just yet. The Coach House gelding’s mark continues on the slide and fresh off a two month break and at a likely juicy enough price, there’s enough reasons for a little investment at least in the only O’Brien contender in the big field. Unrelated Richard O’Brien has a chance with Chessman. All told though many need considering, including last time out winners Hightimeyouwon, Zephron, Independent Missy and Pretty Rebel. Blairmayne won this in 2019 and arrives in good form.
