FormscanBy Mark Nunan - Having been runner-up in a maiden at Tipperary in May, HOT ON MY HEELS was third on handicap debut at Kilbeggan last time when it looked like she would appreciate going a little further. The runner-up at Kilbeggan filled the same position next time out and Enda Bolger’s filly can go well here off an unchanged mark. Point-to-point winner Citizen’s Army was unfortunate to run into the very well-handicapped All Class (runs in the first division) at Sligo and, although flattered by the margin of defeat, her second place finish was a fine run for a 50/1 chance. She looks sure to run well for local connections off a 3lb higher mark. Having been runner-up in a moderate maiden hurdle at Sligo, Miss Arccol acquitted herself well when third in a 2m handicap at Limerick and the topweight is another who might improve for the extra couple of furlongs.
