FormscanBy Eamonn Murphy - The oldest horse in the line-up, WARRIORS TALE, is taken to come out on top. He was very good at Cork in first-time cheek-pieces last time and with those aids applied again the son of Midnight Legend is expected to enjoy going up to two miles and seven furlongs. Warriors Tale won the Grand Sefton at Aintree in 2018 and was a very useful performer on his day with hopefully more in the locker yet. Maxine O’Sullivan’s claim is helpful as well, and the twelve-year-old is preferred to Rewritetherules, Some Man and Staker Wallace. The last-named finished in front of Warriors Tale in a Dromahane open in November and the Cheltenham and Punchestown bronze medallist is very much respected.
