FormscanBy Gary Carson - REWRITETHERULES has a welter burden here carrying a double penalty but may prove too strong for these rivals. 'Shark' Hanlon's charge was pulled up when last seen in the Foxhunters over the National fences at Aintree but this is a much easier task now. He had some solid Open form in point-to-points over the last season and was far from disgraced when sixth in a strong hunters chase won by Billaway at Down Royal in December. That looks a cut above what his rivals have shown. Alpha Male won this in 2018 and was second a year later so looks the danger. He made little impression in a hunters chase at Cork earlier in the month but should be involved in a weak race here. Stablemate Enniskillen is obviously none-the-worse having slipped up on a bend in a banks race here on Tuesday. Despite his advancing years he's capable of picking up prize-money.
