Gin Blossom She did it nicely. She fell out of the stalls in Tipperary and was always on the back foot but stayed on nicely over a bit shorter. Shane said she was a little bit slow today but he got into a nice position and she quickened up well and quickened away. He said she felt good in the last furlong and loved that ground. I think she will end up staying. She's gone and shed her maiden tag now and we'll see what happens from there. Knowing if she keeps improving there no doubt he'll look for some black-type. It's important for their pedigrees and he usually tries to do that with those fillies. I suppose we'll have to see what the handicapper will give her as well for that. Brendan Powell, representing

Silvertown We liked him last year, he ran well in a couple of maidens but was just raw. We actually ran him in the Beresford Stakes as we had him in and the race cut up. He finished last of the five but we got prizemoney and we made money. Today he did everything he should do and it was a nice ride from Billy.

So Suave We thought he was going well with the other horses in the spring. I felt the handicapper was hard on him but he got it spot on there and I suppose Danny’s 5lb helped him. It was a good ride. Danny has been with us for the past couple of months. He’s after fitting in well with the rest of the team and I’m delighted that he’s after riding two nice winners for us over the last couple of days. There might be a three-year-old handicap for him at the Curragh on Derby weekend. I think a mile is a good trip for him, maybe seven at the Curragh. He’s an improving horse and might make up into a black type horse one day.
