Mosala he deserved that, to be fair to him, as he's after running well in defeat on his last couple of runs. The step up in trip obviously suited him and he's a horse that could even get a little bit further in time. He's not your typical Kodiac, he's a big scopey horse that goes a trip. I'm sure he'll even jump a hurdle in time and he's in the right hands for that. It's nice to get a winning bracket for them.

Bear Story He's a smashing big horse. He's still a bit raw, a bit of a baby, but he loves that surface and a mile is a good trip for him,. We'll probably put him away now and he'll be a grand horse next year. His form entitled him to have every chance and it's nice to get it done with him. They went a good even gallop which suited him as he's a horse that just likes to go asleep and have something to aim at. He was a bit lonely then when he got to the front. He did it well and I'm delighted for his owner/breeder Johnny Connaughton who has a couple of horses with us. We had another winner recently for him with Eagle's Flight. He's a great man, he always keeps a few in training, and it's nice to see him get rewarded with a couple of nice horses. You'd be very grateful to all those owners this year as they've not been able to go and see their horses. Full credit to all the owners for supporting us and encouraging us to keep going.

Kuwait Direction Sam Ewing rode him in the claimer the other day and thought stepping up to seven might suit him but we already had him declared for this so we said there was nothing to lose, that we'd be positive and see how he gets on. His mark was blown after finishing tenth in the Coventry last year, when only beaten a few lengths, and if he couldn't win a maiden he was never going to win a handicap. He just needed to find his level. He'll have options over five, six and maybe even seven. We'll keep him busy. He only cost £8,000 and we were actually told that we'd never keep him sound. We got a small job done on him when we got him back and touch wood he hasn't had a lame day.

Frenetic She's very fast and is probably the fastest two-year-old over five that's ran in the country so far. You can wipe out the last day when she had to travel over to Doncaster. There was wind in her face and it was a horrible day. She was buzzy with William (Buick) and he said she did too much early doors but today she nice and relaxed. I said to Colin beforehand that she was nice and quiet today and that's the way to have her and we'll be able to ride her today. To do that from 15, to get over, was a tough ask. There is still a bit of improvement in her as she was green in the last 150 yards, wandering about. She's in the Mercury but Ger will peak to Ed Sackville, racing manager for the owners, to see if we will stop now and train her for next year. We were delighted with that and she's done nothing wrong all year. There were excuses for a couple of her runs and when she got beat in Naas she was beaten by a proper horse of Ken Condon's (Miss Amulet).
