N'golo
it worked out for us. The tongue-tie probably helped on that ground. If you forgive him the run in Kilbeggan he's done nothing wrong for us in fairness to him. I think he's stepped up again today, to carry the penalty, and it was a nice performance out of him. He could go further, definitely, and even today we thought in that grade two miles might be sharp enough for him. I opted to take a lead and try and get him to do things right because we have to iron out a few of those problems that he showed early on. He's winning and that's the main thing.

Amma Grace
She did it well and she got a good tactical ride from Oisin,. I walked the last two furlongs of the track when I came racing and, while the stands' side is obviously a shade quicker, I didn't think there was that much advantage in coming all the way across, especially when you are going to ride her very positively. The shortest way home is still up the inside and that's what he did. He gave her a good ride and the filly deserved it. She ran an excellent second in the Group 2 Blandford. I just wanted to win a stakes race with her this year. She's a stakes winning filly now and a beautifully bred filly for Moyglare. I'll speak with Eva Maria Haefner but I'd say the plan will be to keep her in training next year.

N'golo
We left Kilbeggan scratching our heads a bit but that was a bit more like it today. He'll have to build on it but at least he left the run behind him the last day. I was very happy with him, he put his bad run behind him. He'll stay further and to do that on that ground I was very happy that he might be making a bit of progress.

Lugnaquilla
She is a gorgeous big mare and she is over 16.2hh. We are allowed to keep her next year which will be great as she'll be much better next year as a 1m4f filly,. She is just so big and is still a bit weak. I was giving her time and a chance to strengthen into herself and even now she is weak. It'll be all about next year with her and I don't know if she'll run again, she could possibly try for black-type but I wouldn't be surprised if she is put away to come back next year. I think she is a smart filly and I think she is going to be stakes class.

It's been a special day winning my ninth St Leger. I had one horse win it four times, back-to-back, Vintage Crop twice, and now this mare has won it twice,. I've trained her for the day for a long time. I also wanted to get that Group 1 over a mile-and-a-quarter into her in case people thought she was only a staying mare. You saw what the filly that beat her in the Group 1 did, Magical. I was quietly confident today. It was lovely for Oisin Orr, he was only 23 the other day. I thought he switched her off beautifully and I was confident turning for home that he would win. Oisin gets horses to relax very well. To be fair to Chris Hayes he rode her brilliantly here last year and rode a beautiful race on Amma Grace for me earlier on. They all have their own talents. I don't really have a number one but Oisin is riding most of them. I think he has wonderful hands, rides a very relaxed race and fills horses with confidence. You might be worried watching him as very often he hasn't moved on horses. I love horses getting into a rhythm, gradual progress and ride them to come and that's what he does very very well. When you win the Vermeille and Irish Leger on the same day and you're training 100 horses, which is no number of horses in Ireland nowadays, you get a very big kick. The autumn was always the plan for the Tarnawa. She came back to me from Gilltown Stud in great condition. She went to Cork and won the Group 3 from Cayenne Pepper. It was a real good performance and she put up

Tiger Moth
He's a lovely horse. Obviously his last run was in the Irish Derby,. We gave him a break, said we'd come back here and maybe have a look at the Melbourne Cup but he probably won't get in where he is. He's 8lbs below Santiago. I wasn't sure a mile-and-a-half was his thing and we would have been very happy going back to a mile-and-a-quarter. It was a strong run mile-and-a-half and we were going to find out today whether he stayed or not.

Magical
We were very happy after York, we saw what she was able to do. When she went by herself in York she just lost interest a little bit and then the others came around her and she started staying on after the race was over,. What she always wants is to eyeball a horse and battle. Seamus (Heffernan) was happy to make the running today if William wanted to get a lead and if William (Buick, on Ghaiyyath) was going to go on Seamus was going to go with him to keep her interested and he gave her a brilliant ride. She's one serious mare when you get into a battle with her and when you really get into a battle with her that's when you really see what she can do as you saw there today.
