FormscanBy Tom Weekes - ROYAL AIDE has a tendency to jump left in his races but could prove good enough to win this. By Galileo, he won twice on the flat for Joseph O'Brien (where he attained a rating of 85) and has shown useful enough form over hurdles subsequently. He was well held on all his maiden hurdle runs but the winners of his recent Gowran and Galway runs were both quite useful types. Mr Lombardi has his chance, having shown good progression at Cork last month. That effort, in first-time blinkers, was a big step forward for him and with more progression likely, should give the selection a race. Stablemate Friary Rock has a rating of 116 and is another with solid claims on best form but did disappoint on his most recent start at Thurles in February, when tried in a first-time tongue-tie. Coeur Aimant ran well enough on debut in a Limerick bumper 13 days ago and can get involved despite lacking jumping experience.
