FormscanBy Tom Weekes - LAURA BULLION can defy top weight and win. She has already won at today's venue (in April 2019) and while she has been beaten in seven subsequent flat starts, has nonetheless run some solid races in defeat and has also shown some good hurdles form, winning twice. Today's trip is a fraction on the sharp side but this is a very winneable contest and and she steps down in grade form the Lartigue Hurdle latest and her most recent flat starts were also much stronger races to this. Irish Poseidon is a fascinating runner and brings '222242121' German form-figures here. He has form at this trip and on the all-weather, has joined a yard in-form although the addition of a first-time tongue-tie is a possible negative. Special Memento is another notable runner, having come home well over course and distance in September and, being a 3yo, is open to plenty more progression and looks the type win win from his mark. Cliara is a dual winner who hasn't run since August but has already won on an all-weather surface at Wolverhampton and should get involved for the placings.
