FormscanBy Eamonn Murphy - Felix de Giles is back aboard Easysland now, after winning on him at Compiegne in October 2019. From the Tiger Roll Gigginstown House Stud camp, Eddie O’Leary has been out batting for Easysland with his “handicapped by association and that’s very wrong” comment recently. Of course that’s irrelevant here and hence the 167-rated winner from last year, Easysland is a short price to beat inferior rivals off level weights. He wasn’t so good here last time though, and it mightn’t be as simple as it appears on paper. For an each-way play SOME NECK looks good, on the back of a course and distance win in December. The grey shaped better than the final result in his prep over hurdles at the start of the month. Richard Johnson won this on Balthazar King in 2012 and 2014. The former champion jockey takes the reins on Some Neck for the first time now and that’s clearly no negative either.
