FormscanBy Eamonn Murphy - Nobody will be taking BELLE LURETTE too lightly, given the exploits of the same connections bumper horses this autumn. For owner William MacDonald and trainer Liam Burke a pair of four-year-olds, namely Teuchters Glory and Gordon Dai Dai, made winning debuts at Galway. Maybe it’s a bit much to be expecting lightning to strike for a third time but Belle Lurette is eye-catching as a half-sister to Saturday’s exciting winner Keskonrisk. Another out of the Risk Seeker mare, the dam, La Courtille, is a very decent sort as well. That’s Paul Nicholls’ Grand Sancy and if Belle Lurette can perform anything like as well as her siblings she’s got to be taken very seriously. Upstate New York native Jeannie Cook won’t be any hindrance in the plate either. Granny Lowrie only recently lost a Kilbeggan maiden hurdle win from August, after a banned substance was detected in a sample. She has to be seen as a big danger to all.
