FormscanBy Eamonn Murphy - FAITH DU VAL was reported to have hung left by jockey Finny Maguire at Clonmel last time. Maguire is now on Aintree Gin and that one is worth keeping an eye on in the market but Faith Du Val showed plenty of ability at Powerstown Park and she can step up a few places on that effort. Gavin Cromwell’s amateur Joey Dunne takes the ride on the selection in this, with his valuable seven pound claim, and better ground may be beneficial to his mount. She hit a low of 1.11 in running when eventually fourth on debut behind Premier Queen, and hopefully she’ll have learned plenty for the experience. Stuart Crawford’s pair, Cool Rain and Sula Warrior, both ran in a good race last time and they need to be respected, as do many others.
