FormscanBy Gary Carson - DR ZEMPF looked very smart when winning over course and distance on his debut early this month and is fancied to handle the step up in class now. The Dark Angel colt travelled stylishly into things then and was pulling away at the line to beat Elliptic. That filly has run with credit to finish sixth in the Albany Stakes at Ascot since so the form looks solid. There is a rematch here between Go Bears Go and Cadamosto who were second and fourth in the Norfolk Stakes behind Perfect Power. They fought it out on the far side that day with just over half a length between the pair. It should be close again and it will be interesting to see which one appreciates this extra furlong. Richard Hannon saddles the unbeaten Dukebox and he also has to be respected. The Holy Roman Emperor colt was a narrow winner at Newbury last month but the form has been boosted by the second and third since. Castle Star won the Marble Hill here in good style last month and is another that commands respect in a strong renewal of a race that has thrown up some stars in the past.
