Clonmel Rescheduled For Next Tuesday

Clonmel has failed to pass an early morning inspection ahead of tomorrow's card and the fixture for today Thursday, February 15th has been cancelled.

Officials revealed yesterday that parts of the track were unfit for racing and following a further 6mm of rain overnight the meeting has been called off.

Powerstown Park played host to huge crowds for the National Coursing Meeting which took place on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

Today's race meeting has been rescheduled for next Tuesday, 20th February. Fresh entries will close at 12 noon tomorrow.

Recall tops Irish 40 in National contention

A 40-strong Irish representation for the Randox Health Grand National at Aintree is headed by the Willie Mullins-trained Total Recall, who has been allotted 11st 1lb.
