The five-day Killarney July meeting draws to a close this afternoon with a seven-race card highlighted by the €45,000 BoyleSports Handicap Chase while there is also jumping action at Kilbeggan this evening. The Dara Man and Danny Mullins won the 2m1f Killarney feature 12 months ago and are again in the line-up while trainer John Ryan is also represented by The Little Yank and Hope Des Blins Sole Pretender heads the weights and is likely to be one of the market leaders along with The Dasher Conway who won in good style at Tramore last time.

Willie Mullins supplies two short-priced favourites in the shape of Hercule Du Seuil in the Lee Strand Novice Chase (4.15) and Abi’s Champ in the Christy Lucey Mares’ Bumper (5.25).

The action gets underway at 1.55 and the going is currently described as good, good to yielding in places, following watering overnight. There is a dry forecast.

An eight-race evening meeting at Kilbeggan kicks off at 4.30 and Mark Walsh will be hoping to partner a double for JP McManus aboard Sundial in the Tote Fantasy Who’s In Your Stable Maiden Hurdle (6.10) and Changing The Rules in the Jim Ryan Racecourse Services Handicap Chase (7.55).

The going at the midlands venue is currently good to yielding following selective watering. There is the possibility of 5-10mm of rain later today.
