The Stewards interviewed Davy Russell, rider of Money Trix placed second, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of the race.
Evidence was heard from the rider concerned.
Having viewed the video of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that Davy Russell had used his whip with excessive force and frequency and they therefore suspended him for two race days. (Dates to be confirmed by the Turf Club)
