Life In The Park made an impressive start over fences with a cosy victory in the beginners chase at Listowel.

Rachael Blackmore tracked the front-running Bigz Belief in the two-mile-six contest before sending her mount to the front three from home.

The Henry de Bromhead-trained gelding just had to be shaken up from the penultimate fence to hold off the Gordon Elliott-trained pair of Perfect Attitude and Folcano

The 11/8 favourite was in control on the run-in to post a four-and-a-half length win.

It was a hat-trick for the Walk In The Park gelding, who had won twice over timber in the spring.

Blackmore, in the Minella Indo colours of Barry Maloney, said afterwards:- “It's brilliant, he jumped a little bit right everywhere so that can be improved on but it was a great performance.

“These colours have seen a lot of success and hopefully this lad will get into the winners enclosure plenty.

“He quickened up the straight well and it's great to get that. I think he was bought with a chasing career in mind.

“It's not been an easy road for anyone down in Henry's and we're all still thinking of him.”
