Trainer Johnny Levins recorded his fourth winner in a week when his Palavicini Run returned to the scene of her ‘Claiming’, at Fairyhouse in June 2016, when landing the opening Follow Fairyhouse Twitter Claiming Race at the Co Meath venue today.

Ridden by Levins’ stable apprentice Donagh O’Connor, the daughter of Palavicini finished strongly to eventually beat Vocal Activity by a length and three parts.

Afterwards Levins, who claimed Palavicini Run for E15,000 following her odds-on 4/9f defeat at the venue last year, stated “she’s a grand filly and that’s her third win for us. I was disappointed the last day but never found a reason for it, so we were happy to just put a line through it.

“She benefitted from a nice ride there off a strong pace. He held her up and got there at the right time. Delighted to get another one.

“That’s our fourth winner since last Thursday, and Donagh is riding very well at the moment.”

Levins claimed back Palavicini Run for E16,000 following the race, with his claim being the only one lodged.
