Some Drama won as his price suggested he might when claiming the Greenmount Park Beginners Chase with the minimum of fuss at Limerick.

Dermot McLoughlin 's charge was sent off a 4/7 shot for the 2m3f contest having been runner-up on his last two outings.

After a few sketchy jumps early on he hit the front at the sixth fence and it was plain sailing from there.

Andrew Lynch let his mount ease clear over the final two fences to record a 35-length success over Cappacurry Zak

"He's been consistent all year and Andrew said he'd prefer better ground. He won as he liked and it was good experience for him," said McLoughlin

"He has taken a while to come to himself and is going the right way - we'll keep him in for the summer."
