Pat Martin had his second winner of the week when Indiana Grey landed the Follow Limerick Racecourse On Instagram Handicap.

Danny Sheehy took the ride on the Raymond Moore-owned grey, and the 9/1 chance built on a Cork third placing from last month.

Getting off the mark at the twelfth time of asking the four-year-old Zebedee filly wore down the older and much more experienced Count Of Carabass in the closing stages.

A neck separated them at the line.

Following on from Pretty Smart’s win for the County Meath-based trainer at Navan on Wednesday, Indiana Grey’s success prompted her handler to say: "She had a change of owner and is now owned by the luckiest man in Ireland, Ray Moore. She was previously owned by my wife Joan and Ray has been so lucky for me over the years and I can't remember a horse that didn't do well for him.

"The last day she was a bit one-paced over six (furlongs) on good ground at Cork and we thought the step up to an easy seven would suit today but the change in ground was a worry for us.

"We were worried about whether or not her stamina would hold out but in the end it was stamina that won out. Initially we started over seven and a mile but her work this year was disappointing and we dropped her in trip but a tongue-tie was a huge help to her and she is from a good tough family.

"We'll go to Dundalk when the grass is gone but she does handle heavy. It was a smashing ride from Danny."

L.T. McAteer, rider of Emphatic trained by J.Larkin, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was bumped in the straight.

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the straight involving Emphatic, ridden by L.T. McAteer, Lottieloveheart ridden by C.T. Keane, and Kudbegood ridden by E.J. McNamara, where it appeared Emphatic received a bump. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards took no further action other than to advise E.J. McNamara to ride with more care in future.
