Natalia Lupini's Making Time showed good fortitude to see off the challengers in the Irish EBF Auction Series Maiden over seven furlongs in Foxrock.

The 11/4 joint favourite was there to be passed racing into the final furlong, but kept toughing it out under Seamie Heffernan who rode a double after landing the opener on Content

The trainer's partner Craig Bryson said: “She's tough and straightforward. Seamie rode her to be positive today and she stayed well to the line.

“There should be a little bit more to come from her hopefully.

“She was a good third in a winners' race first time out and was third at Dundalk last week, staying on well to the line over six so we thought she'd get the seven well.

“We'll take her home and see how she is and we might look at a nursery. If we could get a bit of black-type into, we'll try. She probably wants fast ground.”
