Madame Plaintiff was a decisive winner of the Dining Packages At Gowran Park Handicap under Robert Whearty.

Sent off 5/1 having been as big as 14/1 this morning, the daughter of Inns Of Court came from mid-division to lead a furlong and a half out over on the far side of the track.

She was ridden out to score by two and a quarter lengths from Victor's Choice before jamming on and unseating her rider (unscathed afterwards) just after the line.

Gavin Cromwell 's handicap debutant runs in the colours of M Dunphy, Peter McCarrick, E Hughes and J R Brennan.

"The plan was to be a bit more forward," said Whearty.

"I was a little bit slow away and had to take my time — there was no point in forcing her.

“I probably got there too soon but wasn’t expecting her to pick up as quick.

“She is probably a filly that will go a mile and hopefully she is on the improve.”

On his unseating, he added, “At the road crossing she just jinked right and I ended up on my feet but all is okay."
