Le Vent D'Antan suffers fatal fall

Promising novice chaser Le Vent D'Antan suffered a fatal final fence fall in the Grade 1 Flogas Novice Chase at Leopardstown today.

The Liz Doyle trained and Goliath Syndicate owned gelding, a winner of four of his races, was held in fourth when falling at the final fence, with his rider Davy Russell escaping uninjured.
