James Ryan has been in flying form at the start of the Winter Series in Dundalk and has prospects on another three mounts this evening.

Ryan, who has ridden four winners at the last two meetings in Dundalk, partners The Bog Bank for Tom McCourt, Eddie Lynam's Teddy Boy and Storm Eric for Jamie Flynn.

McCourt and Ryan successfully teamed up with Shining Aitch on Wednesday and the trainer gave a positive update on The Bog Bank who contests the Gateway Hotel Dundalk Race & Stay Apprentice Handicap over a mile.

"I wasn't going to run her back as soon, but she is telling us otherwise at home. She is jumping out of her skin," McCourt said.

"James knows her inside out, but it is just one of those type of races - you are always bumping into something.

"She'll get her turn (again)."

The Bog Bank has finished runner-up on her last two visits to Dundalk this month. She has two course and distance victories under Ryan in her locker.
